Become a Sleight School Ambassador!

Here's how it works:

• Members who have achieved an “activity score” of 3 out of 10 or above can request an invitation to the affiliate program.

• Each member who joins the program will receive a unique link to share with potential new members.

• When someone joins the community using your link, you will receive $6.

• The monthly membership fee is $12, and new members will enjoy a 7-day trial period.

• All affiliate payments will be processed monthly via PayPal.

• Commissions are considered pending for 30 days to allow for refunds before being paid out.

• You can easily track your sign-ups through your affiliate dashboard.

To access your affiliate dashboard in the community, click your profile icon in the community header and select Affiliate.

In your affiliate dashboard, you'll find key information, including:

  • The commission rate you will be receiving for referrals.

  • The option to copy referral links.

  • Details about each conversion stemming from your shared links.

Copy referral links

To ensure that you are rewarded for the referrals, you must share the unique links of each paywall located in your dashboard.

To copy your links, select the paywall from the dropdown menu in the Referral link section and then click Copy link.


 


 

When a different commission structure applies to a particular paywall, you'll find the commission information hyperlinked under the Referral link section when selecting that specific paywall. Click the hyperlink to access the detailed commission structure for that paywall.


 


 

When promoting the community online via social media platforms, blogs, and platforms like YouTube, it's a great idea to include your referral links. When someone clicks on your referral link, they will be directed to the paywall checkout page, where they can easily purchase a membership.

How do we track your referrals

For tracking purposes, we follow the Last cookie rule. This means that if the user had multiple affiliate links, the affiliate link they last used for the purchase would earn the commission.

Suppose James clicks Arjun's affiliate link to explore the community membership but doesn't make a purchase. A few days later, he came across your post on Twitter containing the community membership link. This time, he completes the transaction for the paywall subscription to this community. As a result, you will receive a commission for the sale.

Your referral's cookie will remain valid for 60 days. This means that any conversions that occur more than 60 days after the link has been clicked will not count towards the commission.

View referral activity

In your affiliate dashboard, you can see your referral activity categorized into various tabs based on its commission status. Within these tabs, you can view details, including:

  • Paywalls

  • Purchase date

  • Name of the customer

  • Purchase amount

  • Commission

  • Commission status


If a member is subscribed to a community paywall that involves recurring payments or installments, you will see those payments along with the commission amount here.

 

A Few Tips to help you be
a successful affiliate

• Familiarize Yourself with Sleight School: Before promoting Sleight School as an affiliate, take the time to familiarize yourself with the platform, its courses, instructors, and the value it provides to members. Understanding the product will make your promotions more authentic and compelling.

• Highlight Your Personal Experience: Share your personal experience with Sleight School, including how the courses have helped improve your skills, how you’ve made new friends, how the community reignited your passion for the art, how you learn new techniques during the live sessions, or advance your career as a magician. Authentic testimonials can be very persuasive in encouraging others to join.

• Create Quality Content: Produce high-quality content related to magic, sleight of hand, and learning resources. This could include tutorial videos, blog posts, social media posts, or reviews that showcase the benefits of Sleight School and encourage your audience to sign up.

• Emphasize the Special 7 Day Free Trial Promotion to your audience. People are often more inclined to sign up if they feel they are getting a special deal or added value through your affiliate link.

• Utilize Multiple Channels: Promote Sleight School across various platforms and channels, such as your website, social media profiles, email newsletters, and online forums frequented by magicians and enthusiasts. Tailor your messaging to each platform and audience.

• Engage with Your Community: Actively engage with your online magic community by participating in discussions, answering questions, and providing valuable insights and advice. Building trust and credibility within your community will make your affiliate recommendations more effective.

• Be Transparent: Always disclose your affiliate relationship with Sleight School to your audience. Transparency is key to maintaining trust and credibility with your community.

• Track Your Performance: Use tracking tools provided by Sleight School to monitor the performance of your affiliate promotions. Track metrics such as clicks, conversions, and commissions to understand what strategies are working best for you.

• Provide Ongoing Support: Offer ongoing support to your audience who sign up for Sleight School through your affiliate link. This could include answering questions, providing additional resources or guidance, and sharing tips for getting the most out of their membership.
